Final Poster Design
Task Introduction
This week's task for Digital Art & Design required students to design a "Call of Paper" A4 poster using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop according to the theme given. The theme of the poster is "Intelligent and Resilient Digital Innovations for Sustainable Living". The conference will be held on 23rd to 25th October 2023 at International Convention Centre, Brunei Darussalam. It is the 6th International Conference on Applied Computational Intelligence in Information Systems (ACIIS 2023).

The final poster design consist of every necessary details and information for any audience that are interested in joining the conference. Information such as the dates leading up to the event and prices for registration are necessary in order for interested participants aware of what needs to be done prior to the event. Design wise of the poster are kept minimal to emphasise on the texts of information itself therefore, the information will be easily grasped by the audience.

A simple mind map was done to gather all necessary ideas and information regarding the task theme.
Moodboard
Colour Palette
A moodboard consisting of designer's posters related to tech event poster was gathered to have the general idea of the design style and colour theme.
The first step to designing the poster was to create a gradient background according to the colour palette.

An illustration icon and pattern was then created to be part of the background of the poster. The illustration includes lines and circular shapes that were inspired by a 'digital technology' grid icons. These illustrations were then reduced its opacity.

Texts consisting of all necessary and relevant information were added and placed properly in a way the audience can easily read the information altogether. Details mentioned in the poster are 'Call For Paper' title, date and location of the event, theme of the conference, research areas, key dates, registration fees, website and email.

The final step was to add more details such as emphasising some of the texts so that it would be easier to read by the audience and give it more lively effect to the poster.
